Summative assessment is important because it evaluates the students’ learning at the end of the semester. It helps the teacher to see the students level after each outcome which will help the teacher to know what to do later. as I mentioned summative assessment 'evaluate student learning, knowledge, proficiency, or success at the conclusion of an instructional period or unit' (Formative and Summative Assessments, n.d.). Summative assessment can also help the parents to see their children level and from that, they can help them to improve.

During my teaching practice, I have done six summative assessment to measure the students understanding of the outcomes.
