Assessment: practice writing
 

Description of the assessment: practice spelling is an assessment that helps the students practice writing the high-frequency words for the week. This strategy helped me to evaluate the students and to see their level and help them from that.
 

Theme week: Animals and Plants
 

Subject: Literacy 
 

Learning outcome: KRV1-   identify and use high-frequency words with two or more letters
                                 KWWP2-  share their writing with teacher and peers
                                 KLLK3-  use efficient and consistent motion to form a letter.

   
Description of the activity: I asked the students to try writing the words is, it, see, look, she, he, the. I sounded out the letters in each word to help the students write the words correctly and to see if they could match the sound to letter they wrote.

The students were practicing writing the words correctly.
