4 Corners Assessment
Assessment: 4 corners
Description of the assessment: it is a type of assessment where the teacher uses the 4 corners in the classroom and label each corner. The teacher asks the students a question or give the students object and the students must look for the right corner. “Corners don’t have to represent answers. They can also represent students’ comfort with or understanding of the topic.” (Dyer, 2012)
Theme week: Animals and Plants
Subject: Literacy
Learning outcome: KLP2- say the first sound of a word when reading
Description of the activity: I putted in each corner a sign for farm animals, zoo animals, desert animals and insects. I showed the students pictures of the different animals. And asked the students to go to the right corner (the category the animal belong to).
