Description of the assessment: I gave each student a paper and a pencil. I asked each student to write the word I say and listen carefully the sound I make for each letter. The words were I, like, see, can, and, a

 

Materials: papers and pencils.
 

Grading criteria: if they got five to six words correct they are master 5,6/6
                             if they got three or four words correct they are
developing 3,4/6
                             if they got one or two words correct they are 
emerging 1,2/6
